AIG Bank has $1.3 billion is assets and $1.1 billion in deposits.

AIG Bank's money market account has tiered rates with a minimum balance of $2,500 to avoid a $10 monthly fee.

CD rates lock at the time of the application, and have a ten day grace period before rolling over on maturity.  Early withdral period is 3 months on terms under 1 year and 6 months on terms over 1 year.

ACH transfers cannot be initiated online but require a faxed form, and it is unclear whether the bank does a hard of soft credit pull.

been with hsbc, onbank, cnbdirect and ally. ally experience has been the best. rates are good (not necessarily the highest but not insulting low). but most importantly they win on other important measurements: (1) ach transfer in / out are fast -- potential lost interest aside, it's good to know they're efficient and want to get money in / out as fast as you do. (2) customer service is generally good and available 24/7. (3) internet interface is great. doesn't crash and doesn't look like it was put together by someone reading "internet for dummies". (4) transfer in / out -- no limits. rate is obviously important but you also want to monitor and have confident access to your money.
