We Should be Thankful It\'s 2008 and Not 1933

Times have been tough recently but not so tough. Let's be thankful that we are in 2008 and not 1933 when there was 25% unemployment and the world was on the brink of a world war. Without the current system of welfare, SSI, and unemployment insurance,as well as other government programs and food banks, it would be worse today. Think about it...At least back than the majority of the citizens could feed themselves on the family farm.If they could hang onto it.
