Bank of the Wichitas is one of three banks operated by the Huckabee family in Oklahoma.  Headquartered in Snyder, OK, the bank had $115 million in assets as of Dec 2008 and $75 million in deposits.  The bank operates four branches in Oklahoma.  In addition to its branches, the bank offers online banking and offers online account opening via its online division Redneck Bank

It's main rate competitive product is a reward checking account.  The Wichita Rewards checking account offers a competitive rate as long as customers are willing to do the following:

  • Make 10 Redneck Bank® VISA® Check Card transactions**
  • Received statements electronically

Bank of the Wichitas is FDIC insured.  It has a 3 1/2 out of 5 star rating (Good)  from Bauer Financial for its safety and soundness. 

In addition to Bank ofthe Witchitas and Redneck Bank, the Huckabee family also operate Evantage Bank and AmericaNet Bank.  All are offering similar rates and have similar websites.
