YouTube, when you think about it, is sitting on another gold mine. It is perfect for recruiting and for finding jobs in today's high tech, video world. The music star Sean Combs, known as Diddy, advertised for an assistant on YouTube and received over 600 applicants.
This is just the start. It is going to catch on very fast. And you will see all sites designed specifically for job recruitment quickly being replaced by YouTube, which is more open and well placed to take this space over. As in the Diddy case, YouTube can actually make it possible for viewers to help in the selection process. The possibilities are endless.

I dont't see YouTube taking this space. It's really a business app and YouTube doesn't have the brand to pull it off. Some company will do it though.

Agree with MMT - Diddy pulled a publicity stunt, but for most companies this will not be a viable recruitment tool.
