Careers

As an MBA I sat through quite a few interviews and heard my friends describe theirs. In the chapters below, I will pose some of these questions and see who can most creatively answer them. Each week I'll post a new question. The winner at the end will receive something...although I'm not sure what, yet.

At the very least, you'll be crowned the best business interviewer 2007.

Question #1.

I received this question from the head of marketing for a chemical company based in the mid-West.  I didn't take the job and probably wouldn't have wanted it anway.  I'm not sure if they liked my answer so let's see how you  do:

How many gold balls are hit each year in the United States?

Remember, the winner is the most creative and thoughtful answer, not necessarily the person who manages to find the right answer on Google.  I'll pick a winner next week - September 11.
