Legendary Texas oil man T. Boone Pickens has gone green with a plan to spend $10 billion to build the world's biggest wind farm. But he's not doing it out of generosity - he expects to turn a buck.

Hope this kind of renewable energy investment continues. Cheaper and cleaner electric energy should also make plug-in hybrids more attractive in the next decade.

Let him take that bet, but you don't need to bet on wind. Very limited niche and they are overbuilding all over Texas.
