Regal Financial Bank is a community bank based on Seattle, WA. Regal Financial Bank offers competitive savings account and cd rates.

The bank has an online application for savings accounts but it appears a branch visit or call is needed to open a certificate of deposit. I've tried calling the bank several times and after being stuck in a call-tree, finally came to a message said that said it was full. As someone mentioned in a comment to a previous post on Regal's CD offer, it appears that a branch visit may be the best bet to get prompt service. If anyone is able to get through and speak to someone, let us know.

Regal Financial Bank is rated 3 1/2 Stars out of 5 by Baeur Financial (Good) for its safety and soundness. The bank was founded and has been FDIC insured since 2002 (certificate #57236). I tried to examine their annual report but it was password protected online.

I just contacted them to ask about their savings account and was informed that they are only accepting WA state residents at this time.

I recently opened a 1 yr 4% MVP CD (offer expired Mar 15), a checkng account, a Celebration Savings account, and a Emerald Savings account. The customer support people were unbelievably great. I've made ACH deposits from 3 other banks to these accounts because they currently have the best interest rates in their Emerald Savings accounts. I am extremely happy with this bank so far.

I was very lucky to open the MVP CD plus a checking and a savings account with the bank before that fantastic special account went away. I not only have a great rate I found a fantastic group of professionals and I could not believe the service level I received. I am so excited with finally being treated like a real customer from a bank that I have closed my B of A accounts and moved them all to Regal!
