This is going to be the end of CNBC, especially if Fox buys Dow Jones.

Agreed, CNBC is toast. One gets the sense that CNBC is just like all of GE - a bunch of creative people stripped of their creativity to meet Six Sigma. I hope that Fox hires some of the better people - Kernan, Faber, Bartiromo. They can leave Rattigan and Cramer at CNBC to drive those evening shows into oblivion.

I heard a rumor today that Fox has hired Liz Claman from CNBC. I check the CNBC website and she is no longer listed as an employee of CNBC so I bet that she is Fox's first acquisition. The first of many, I bet.
