This is a very stimulating piece by Charlie Gasparino of CNBC who suggests that Obama's economic policy will be dangerous, and ask how the Corzines and Blackfeins could be supporting him. While I think that it is an interesting article, my own view is that Obama is now saying whatever he needs to say to get middle America's vote, but that he will not be the tax and spend Democrat that he is increasingly presenting himself as.

Gasparino sounds like a hack. Maybe he's smarter than Rubin, Mack, Dimon, etc. but I doubt it. They realize that the next President is going to have to tackle the deficit and at least Obama is telling a half truth. He says he'll raise some taxes. McCain is just plan lying when he says he isn't raising taxes at all.

Folks, everyone's taxes are going. A $400 billion budget deficit says so.
