Ashraf Laidi, Chief Foreign Exchange Strategist for CMC Markets See the Dollar Strengthening
In this Wall Street Journal interview, a foreign currency analyst discusses why he thinks the dollar will bounce between 7-10% in the short term. The bottom line: weaker oversees growth.
This somewhat contradicts the opinion of Chuck Butler, another forex specialist I interviewed several weeks but on deeper reflection, may not. Chuck thought the dollar would remain week, but especially against countries with strong fundamentals. The dollar may indeed strengthen against currencies where the issuing country or entity is facing an economic slowdown.

You get another opinion on the dollar from an interview I did with Chuck Butler, the SVP of Everbank World Markets.

everyone seems to be saying the dollar is going to strengthen, but we'll see. not sure the fundamentals have really changed but maybe the other countries have weakened.
