Congress is getting ready to pass patent reform that may have negative consequences for smaller inventors and patent filers. Personally, I don't put much weight in patents. They take time to get and cost a fortune to enforce. But I don't like anything that makes them less useful for the small-guy.

I disagree. Patents are tremendously important to early stage companies, and Congress is stacking the cards against them if they make any changes that favor big business.
