I just bought my new iPhone.  Here is what I don't like about it:

1) It only works on ATT's 2G network.  Accessing web pages is impossible - forget trying to download anything or access any large files.  Steve Jobs says that I need to find a hotspot to do anything on the internet, and since they are all encrypted, it basically means I need to be in the comfort of my own home to use the thing.

2) No IM, just text.

3) Camera lacks flash, zoom and video.

4) Finger typing on the glass screen is much more difficult than using the Blackberry Pearl's predictive typing.

5) Battery life is not too great.

and, finally

6) I need to remortgage my home to pay for the thing before the credit card statement comes.

I bet that there will be more problems that I'll find over the coming days, but in the meantime, I am sure am glad to be home.  It was tough sleeping out in front of the Apple store for 3 days.

Your previous post and articles on BestCashCow cause me to doubt whether you were really out there and really bought the thing.

Oops. You are on to me.

I believe him. I just got back with mine, and found the very same problems. This is one big spoof on the consumer.

Well, given that your discoveries about the device's limitations have been well-documented in over 1000 articles in the last week I'm not sure I have too much sympathy for you.

Nothing it perfect. It's a phone with a tiny little browsing screen. Once you step back from the hype you realize, like everything, it has it's good and bad.

I would like to see it operate on other networks though. There doesn't seem to be a need to keep it to AT&T.

Oops! Based on your other writing on the site, this is clearly a joke. Very funny, but nonetheless entirely humor. Read AronLiv's other writing, folks, he didn't sit outside an Apple store for 3 days!

Oops is right, but I am in a position when I did manage to get my hands on one right after they went on sale and I did find this to be the case so I stand by everything that I wrote. I just added a little comic relief.

You've got more to discover - starting with the virus vulnerabilities, battery problems, etc.
