As a Red Sox fan, I follow what happens with the Yankees pretty closely. George Steinbrenner has built a perennial contender (I have to admit) and it will be sad to see him leave, in some ways.
What happens to the Yankees when Steinbrenner is gone is a good question.

Who cares? Baseball isn't a sport, it is a bunch of steroid-ridden middle aged men wearing tight pants. I just cannot understand why anyone still watches.
