It is quite interesting that Google would dare to make an antitrust complaint against anyone when they seem to be emerging as the new behemoth in the software space. I see Google and Microsoft increasingly headed towards a real battle for control of the computer.

What's interesting here is that Microsoft seemed to bow to Google. In the past, this wouldn't have happened. It could be anti-trust concerns and Google's growing power or both. Or perhaps MS has a different strategy.

I think it is great to see Microsoft give some. Its programs are really lousy and it is nice to watch Google do a little dance here. Maybe, just maybe, we will see Microsoft do better.
