After the mortgage business imploded last year, Wall Street investment banks began searching for another big idea to make money. They think they may have found one, life-insurance securitizations.

One of the experts interviewed for the article described the risks:

"These assets do not have risks that are difficult to estimate and they are not, for the most part, exposed to broader economic risks,"
