When we are choosing credit cards, we usually consider deals with zero rates and fees. And this is one of the silliest mistakes that we do looking for beneficial credit card deals.
Keep in mind, credit cards that just looks attractive may not be the best choice. Choose a plastic carefully, and if you doubt, think twice before applying.
Every lender pays attention to your credit report. Thus, you should not damage your payment history. Credit companies may raise interest rates in accordance with FICO score drops.
Credit history is very important thing to consider for those who have just started building a credit. However, no payment history is better than bad one. So, you can establish a good or excellent credit rating with a reliable creditor.
Try following the 20/10 rule. It means that your total credit debt must be less than 20% of your annual income. Your monthly payments for credit card bills must not be over 10% of your monthly income. This simple rule is the shortcut to successful credit management. Don't forget about it!
Remember, late payments are an expensive thing. So, keep in mind the due dates on your plastic. And if they are not convenient, you can also change them. Call your lender and discuss appropriate conditions.
Creating a strong budget is a very wise and important step. Many families use this method, and it really works. This way, you can see how much you spend, and where your money goes. Besides, you can understand how much money you spend on each type of expenses. So, that is a wonderful way to see the difference between wants and needs. This method is also helpful for lowering credit debts. If you have a budget and manage your finances wisely, then your credit cards are under control.
