It is all fine and dandy, but what does being a millionaire really mean. In some parts of the world, it means you are wealthy, but in much of the US, you can't even by a comfortable small home with this type of money. It certainly isn't retirement money. In fact, I don't think that anybody these days can adjust their life on the basis of reaching this amount. People certainly shouldn't be planning around reaching it at some point in the future when the real value of $ 1 million will be a lot less than it is today.
