I have a friend in New York who says Real Estate keeps going up. Not sure I believed him but apparently it's true.

In New York, like everywhere, developers will not control themselves and will overbuild leading to a pronounced decline within the next couple of years.

Real estate is like gravity. Eventually it will have to come down. Nothing goes up forever. But, enjoy it while you can.

Historically, real estate on the coasts dramatically outperforms all other asset classes. People have been talking about a dramatic correction in San Francisco as long as I have been here (5 years) and it hasn't happened yet. There may be a correction, but the long term prognosis for real estate of the coast is good.
