I'm interested in financial news. I studied Economics, International Relations, Environmental Policies, History, Music and more in college and believe this mix provides some additional insight into the world.  I also have an MBA and spent over six years in the financial services space.

I am not an economist by training and do not pretend to be one but my record is on display on this site.  Amongst the accomplishments I am the most proud of:

I've also had some misses.  I thought the media was overhyping the credit crunch and the housing crash when it first started.  It's ironic becauase I had been calling for a drop in home prices since 2004.  I also thought that bank stocks were good buys based on their dividends back in July 2007.  That was a disaster.

But I hope I'm getting better over time and learning from my mistakes.
