Reward checking accounts pay great rates, but only for balances up to a certain amount. This page shows the yields if you keep close to $100,000 in the checking account. It appears that in some cases the rates do beat one-year CDs and money markets, although the jumbo rates are not great. Interesting information though to evaluate different reward checking account deals.
