The following seems like a good deal to me: a high interest cd at 18% - Tax Free - 5 years term - deposit insured up to 250,000 Pesos (Banks are located in the Philippines). However, to be honest, I'm afraid of the risk involved, so I will probably not do it myself. Are there any others out there who applied for this banking product? I wouldn't invest in anything in the Philippines. The rate is too high. It's most likely not legit or if it is is extremely risky. I'd stay away.
