A friend of mine recently lost a fortune daytrading. I did some research and came across the attached and showed it to him and he later told me that it kept him from losing everything. On a day like today, many will look at the market and think it can only go up and then turn to Cramer and believe the same, and then tomorrow put everything on the line (and maybe lose it). I've posted this article here in the hope that those who think that they can make a killing on the market (up or down) by daytrading will think twice before ruining themselves financially like my friend did. Important note: I have no ties to the authors or anything that they are selling, I just think that their points are important.

I've had two friends who quit their jobs to day-trade S&P and Russell 2000 index futures full time. The first gave up and came back to his career job in about 4 years. The second has been day trading for over a year and still claims to be making more than he did at his old job.
