ETFs are great investment vehicles. They have much lower fees than mutual funds, perform just as well, and can be traded like stock. One of the most popular is QQQ, which tracks the Nasdaq. This article speaks to the popularity of ETFs. I don't know why wealth of choices would make investors wary though.

Consumers of everything need their choices to be well spelled out. When you give somebody too many choices, the buckle under the pressure of needing to consider too many options. Financial products are no different.

Sure, choices can be overwhelming but that's not what the article says. It says choices are making customers wary. It makes it sound like too many choices are making consumers doubt the value of ETFs. I don't think that's an accurate way to phrase it.
