On CNBC this morning, Meredith Whitney suggests that real estate values which have fallen nationally by 25% need to fall by an additional 25% in order to reach her peak to trough calculations. She suggested that the fundamentals for an additional decline are in place as a result of the 10% unemployment number, and the drying of consumer credit.
