The Presidential candidates haven't discussed taxes at all but in 2010 the tax cuts are set to expire, drastically raising taxes on everyone. In addition, the AMT will continue to grow, taxing the Middle Class at a higher and higher rate.

The politicians know about this but they have all failed to address the issue.
