The spike in Treasury yields may have done the job for the Fed, eliminating the need for further increases in short term rates.

The interesting thing, is that it looks like long-term rates no longer move in step with short-term and the Fed really doesn't have any control over them.

Nothing enlightening from the Fed this week. I actually think they will have to raise rates shortly.
