Kellyanne Conway is completely ridiculous, but she is also a dangerous snake. Anybody who is so well trained in persuasive dialogue and who has seized power, even if done entirely through a strawman such as Trump, is very dangerous. Let's not forget that less than 12 months ago, Conway had staked her fortune on Ted Cruz, only to switch her allegiance to Trump in time to become the single greatest force behind his victory in the general election.
Chuck Todd did a great job reining her in on Meet the Press on Sunday morning. He exposed her as a fraud, peddling in meaningless lies, and will no doubt have to do it multiple times over the next several years, as will any member of the media worth their weight in salt. Extraordinarily, she had put Sean Spicer out in front of the press to insist that something which could be demonstrated to be false was true. In true Nazi-era or Soviet-era propaganda fashion, the Trumputin administration was laying out a willingness to force something which is false on its face to be true, merely through the act of repeating it multiple times.
While this is a tactic that Trumputin himself engaged in successfully as a candidate, it is much more dangerous coming not only after power is seized but from the mouth of someone who is smarter than Trump (Spicer) and being coordinated by the biggest snake of them all (Kellyanne herself).
Unfortunately, around 2:05, Todd missed a chance to put Kellyanne away once and for all and bring an end to these tactics. While he did a good job interrogating Kellyanne, a true prosecutor would have walked her down a path of explaining exactly what she meant with the term "alternative facts", boxing her in still further. Instead, he told her that "alternative facts are falsehoods" and the snake slithered.
