You are viewing rewards checking rates across South Dakota
Below are credit unions that offer rewards checking accounts nationally and across South Dakota. Rewards checking accounts offer a higher interest rate up to a certain balance level in exchange for the user doing certain activities. These requirements may include using a debit card a certain number of times each month, using bill pay, or setting up a direct deposit to the account. In general, the accounts offer significantly higher interest rates on deposited money. Once the user goes over the deposit limit, the rewards checking account rate will drop.
Many, but not all, credit unions listed above are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA). By clicking on a credit union in the table above, you will be taken to an informational page indicating whether it is NCUA insured. The NCUA insures each named individual's deposits to $250,000 for all accounts at the credit union. To avoid exceeding NCUA insurance limits, please review this brochure from the NCUA.
