They might be covered but they do little to safeguard your money. I was hacked, the hackers posed as bank employees accessed my account and made payments to fraudulent accounts. I had to explain to them what happened they could not figure it out for weeks. The final result Curtis decided after 3+ weeks not to cover the loss - he felt the bank followed standard procedure and it was entirely my responsibility. Customer service stinks..
