    Online CDs 12 Month Rates

While they offered good rates, I got nothing but the runaround on membership. Twice submitted required forms in which they said were not clear enough, but only after I called them to see what the holdup was. Very poor communications.

Did business with them for many years, but the quality of service has really gone down. The small improvement in interest rate not offset by the very dismal customer service.

I waited 10 minutes to talk to a person and she didn't solve my credit card problem. The worst service I have experienced in my life!

I can positively state that poor customer service is the reason why businesses sink.
Pentagon Federal online media agent is limited and most times useless. The wait
time on the telephone to be asked name, DOB, last 4 SSN is getting old when you
are asked several times even by the person. Typically, when get a person they
are courteous, but are also limited on what they can help you with. Really (this 2021/2022).
Most companies have moved to relevant questions for identification, but
not Pentagon Fed. They still want you to vital info. In addition, the online system
is near obsolete. More to point. I made an internal transfer between accounts
checking to premium savings to open a CD. I was told via the telephone that it
takes two days for the system to recognize the update. Really... with most banks
its instantaneously. If you are planning to use this credit union for "literally anything"
plan to visit the site or talk with several telephone representatives multiple times.
This makes me appreciate NFCU or Goldman Sachs even more.

Correction: After further communication, there is a 5 business day hold on internal holds. Not only is the website antiquated, their policies have not caught up with this decade.
