Get $100 when you open a Citibank regular checking account

Citibank is offering a $100 checking account promo. Getting the cash isn't so easy though. In these tough times, nothing is.

See if you fit the criteria. To get the money you must:

Be a Citi^® cardmember, that is have a Citi credit card.

• Not be an existing Citi checking account holder. Nice way to treat existing customers.
• Be over 18 years of age.
• Be a resident of the United States.
• Fund it with a minimum of $1,000 by 12/31/2008.
• Within the first month after account opening, you must complete at least one direct deposit to, or at least two electronic bill payments from, the checking account each month for three consecutive months.

I think that's about it. Anyone still qualify?

If you are interested in the offer, don't have a Citi card, but are interested in getting one, they do offer some low interested credit cards which might be worth a look.
