    Online CDs 12 Month Rates

I should have added that the funding for my TIAA CD consisted of an internal transfer of money already on deposit with them, just to make the incomptence worse.

I have never had a problem with a bank, except for this one. With Goldman Sachs I was able to open an externally funded CD in two hours. With TIAA it took two weeks and 4 phone calls. To make matters worse, I did not get the APR I expected/ Along the way, they broke promises of a confirming email "within the hour" (never came at all) and a call back from a senior banker within 24 hours (never happened either). Slow, incompetent, don't tell the truth.

I was very happy with my EverBank CDs, but these guys messed up the autorenew. Took me two hours on the phone to sort out.
