Had no problem using the 2 free nights at the Conrad in NY and that made it worthwhile and then I cancelled.

The card is great for the 2 free nights, but other than that it is very iffy. I recommend to get it, use the 2 free nights, then cancel and Citibank mails you a prorata refund of your annual fee.
