Corus Bank Sends Candy to Some CD Customers

My wife and I both have 12 month CDs with Corus. They both come due in about a month. My wife just got a really nice box of candies from Corus. I didn't.

An interesting ad strategy. The note with the candy just wished my wife a happy new year from all her friends at Corus. No mention was made that her CD would soon be maturing.

Two things here. First, why didn’t I get a box of candy and, second, why are they playing such a low key game?

And, most important, did anyone else get candy, or is this just something between my wife and Corus?

I also have CD at Corus but I did not receive any candy this year. I received a box of chocolates from Corus two years ago when I had a lot of CDs.
