Toshiba and Intel are Likely Bidders For Sandisk - Stock to Sell for North of $35

I made the call on the Samsung bid for Sandisk. Now I am telling you what comes next.

I correctly drew attention to the possibility of a Samsung bid for Sandisk early this month here.

Even I was surprised how high the bid came in. $5.75 billion or $26 a share was not surprising.

I suggested that I would be surprised if Harari would give the company away for a song, and it is clear that he still views $26 too low and that is why the offer is hostile.

This isn't a Yahoo!-like situation. It is a very valuable company which controls influential and vital NAND technology.

I expect to see Intel and Toshiba in here, and I expect to see Sandisk sell the company well over $35.

Just my take.
