Would You Do Your Banking in Facebook or Myspace?

According to an unscientific poll done by NetBanker, 13% of users said they would be interested in doing their banking from within Facebook. Would you?

According to an unscientific poll done by NetBanker, 13% of users said they would be interested in doing their banking from within Facebook.

You can look at the response two ways. 87% of people said they wouldn't do their banking and that's a pretty resounding majority. Of course, 13% said they would consider it and they may represent the early adopters.

It might catch on someday but I don't see it ever becoming the majority of onine bank transactions. Just as banks have put branches in malls and supermarkets, they would should look to place "online branches" where their customers are.
