Customer Reviews for NAVY FEDERAL CREDIT UNION

  • September 30, 2022 |

I have been a customer for 34 years. But I have been dismayed by NFCUs slow responsiveness to be competitive in the market place with savings rates and to offer the best rates in the market. All I see is their interest margins rising and savers getting the short end of the stick. Their savings rate is an embarrassment and for that reason I don’t keep a lot of cash there and use other institutions. Hey NFCU - your savers matter!!!

  • August 30, 2022 |

I have been a NFCU member for 38 years and would love to able to rate NFCU with 5 stars, but I can't because of the following issues; The long wait on the phone because of there being only one number to call if I need to talk to a real person on any issue and second is the fact that NFCU does not partner with any other bank (at least in Alexandria, LA) to facilitate depositing or cashing of a check without having an account at that local bank or Credit Union or driving the 52 miles one way to Leesville, LA.

Being a retired Marine and regular critic of NFCU, in the last two years, I have to admit the Customer Service, the dividend rates, and the overall quality of services have increased immensely. I am even considering starting a direct deposit again.
