Paul B. Farrell's 30 Reasons Why We'll Be in a Great Depression by 2011

Marketwatch writer Paul Farrell brings up some interesting points but I find things are never as bad as they seem, or as good. I also look at articles like this as a marker to a bottom in the market. The more great depression articles you see, the closer we are getting to some kind of low. Are we there yet? No. But we're getting closer.

Marketwatch writer Paul Farrell brings up some interesting points in his article "30 reasons for Great Depression 2 by 2011" but I find things are never as bad as they seem, or as good. I also look at articles like this as a marker to a bottom in the market. The more Great Depression articles you see, the closer we are getting to some kind of low. Are we there yet? No. But we're getting closer.

Will we experience another Great Depression? Maybe. But as a whole the world is wealthier than it ever was before. I stil believe that capitalism is alive and well and that what we are experiencing is a necessary correction to years of exubarance.
