I like reading about business news but I also like to lighten up. So, I thought I would take a moment to wax poetic about Trish Regan, the money honey on CNBC that I enjoy watching the most. Trish, keep up the good work.

TrishRegainonCNBCTheCallTrish Regan brightens what are turning out to be rather dismal days from a business and finance standpoint. Watching her explain the market or interview a guest, I can almost forget the markets are falling, the financial system has collapsed, and that we are heading into the worst of the recession. Looking into her green eyes I can almost believe that all will be better.

She's a world class traveler with a sense of adventure, having traveled to Colubmia for a segment on Extreme Investing and then to Alberta to play with the big trucks in the tar shale fields.

Best of all she's smart. Trish doesn't flub her interviews or look flustered discussing markets, rates, or other business stories and terms. Her calm, cool poise is exactly what the markets need right now.
