United Airlines yesterday barred two girls in leggings from a flight. This is a big story getting out of proportion coverage across the media today.

Meanwhile, we have a country in crisis. A new President, who ran on his skills in closing deals, has just failed to close a huge health care deal. Drowning in his early failure, and surrounded by yes men who have even less experience than he, the President, has already shaken the confidence of his own party and many supporters. Legislative challenges ahead now appear larger than life, and promises made only months ago look unrealizable and unrealistic.

And, a world that has depended on America for half a century to keep order and lead is quickly beginning to fracture and bleed. Much that seemed accepted behavior and established order are beginning to disappear. There is so much to worry about today in our country, for our country, about our country and on our planet.
